French Macarons! Classic Vanilla Bean and Roasted Strawberry

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at these delicate delicious cookies? Then this is the class for you! A French classic that is so gorgeous but can be a bit finicky. We’ll go over a tried and true method that results in a more stable batter, helping you master these in Versailles and at home! In each class we will make two different flavors, one a bit more classic, the other more unique (see the class title). We will also go over lots of different options for other fillings so you can take the base recipe for the shells and then make it your own. We will work on piping those perfect circles and the best method for assembling.


Each student will go home with the recipes, a sheet of macaron making tips, and a box of their own creations!

  • How to make the Perfect French Macaron
  • Lots of tips to help you master the process
  • How to pipe perfect circles and that “swoosh” to get a flat top
  • The method for releasing air bubbles
  • How to whip up the perfect Italian Meringue
  • Macaronage, how to fold the batter to achieve the right texture and how to know when to stop
  • Two different fillings (see class title for flavors)
