We’ll be making Chouquettes together, little puffs of choux pastry with either mini chocolate chips or pearl sugar on the outside! They are like biting into little sugar clouds and so delicious! This is a fun class for kids (and kid’s at heart!) and will be about an hour long.
Notes: This class is probably best for kids 8 and up with a parents help. The dough will be made on the stove. The process of adding the eggs to the dough can be done by hand or in an electric mixer. If done by hand, keep in mind that it will involve some arm muscle! The easiest is to do it in an electric mixer with a paddle attachment.
At the end of the class, we’ll pipe the choux puffs either with a ziploc bag, piping bag, or simply by placing spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet!
