Mulled Wine
Mulled Wine, or Vin Chaud as it’s called in my neck of the woods, is one of my all time favorite warm beverages and my absolute go to on those cold winter nights when I need an extra kick. This classic cozy beverage is deceptively simple to make, and bound to impress any dinner party, holiday get together, or romantic night in by a fire!
Mulled Wine
With it's well balanced flavors of spice and sweet, Mulled Wine is a delicious drink to enjoy on it's on, though my favorite way to pair it is with a rich chocolate cake!

Poke the cloves into the orange and place in a saucepan. Pour in the wine and add all the other ingredients. Heat gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into mugs and enjoy!
To make this recipe extra special, I recommend pairing with my favorite chocolate cake, a Moelleux au Chocolat! You can find my recipe for that, plus many more, in my cookbook "French Pastry Made Simple".
