Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Nothing says the holiday’s quite like the warm and familiar flavors of pumpkin and spice! Whether I’m trying to liven up a cup of coffee, or add a splash of flavor to a cake or pie, this is my favorite go to syrup to have on hand. And if you’re anything like me, you’ll love it so much you’ll keep making it year round!

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup (160 ml) water
- ½ cup (100 g) brown sugar
- 6 tbsp (90 g) pumpkin puree
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Bring all the syrup ingredients to a boil. Stir constantly and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced in size and syrupy in texture. Set aside to cool. Transfer to an airtight container and keep in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
To make your own Pumpkin Spice Latte, add a spoonful of the syrup to either a cup of coffee, or the milk as it's frothing.
Holy crud, this is amazing. It didn’t look like anything special and didn’t smell sweet. However, I could drink it plain. I bet it’s amazing on pumpkin pancakes too. I should have quadrupled it.
