woohoo! It’s time for our third Ridiculous Cooking Job that I Would Totally Take If I Had the Experience/Balls Tuesday! And boy did I find a sweet job that I would take in a heart beat if I could.

A new position for an experienced private chef for a London Family of 5 who can assist with Breakfast and Dinners Monday to Friday and who can travel with the family at the weekends to St Tropez in the South of France with time off in lieu. (Let me get my sun hat- I’m coming with!)
As the families main private chef, you must be skilled at cooking quality simplistic home cooking (uh.. how about spaghetti and meatballs), so we are looking for culinary strengths in experience in european, Italian (again, spaghetti and meatballs- tehe), Mediterranean cuisines possibly vegetarian food (I made a couscous dish with dried cranberries, scallions, and pecans last week- nailed this one!), meats dishes and someone who has an awarenes to avoid certain foods which cause allergys
Since work in France is also necessary, french language skills might be advantageous. (I know a couple words – no biggie!)
Time off in lieu for weekends worked, live out in London and live in when traveling. (oh ok, so you’re asking if I’ll live in your beach house in the South of France? I think I could do that.)

Other skills required:
Knowledge of pastry and baking (check)
Occasional entertaining of family members (hmmm… this is making me think of a jester for some reason)
Good knowledge and training in Hygience, COSHH and HACCP 
Good communication skills, (tehehehe – yes- check!)
Purchasing responsbilities (you mean I get to go grocery shopping and buy whatever I want to make whatever I want???)
Confidentiality, Discretion (my lips are sealed! I wonder who this family is… !)
Ideally a chef who has previous experience in other private residences.
Talk about awesome! Travel between London and France cooking for a family! Coool!
I think I’d feel like Mary Poppins if I took this job. Hopefully they have a full time nanny. Not messing with that!
