PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE
Rockliffe Hall, the newest and most exciting 5 star hotel resort to open in the North of England is seeking to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen brigade.
Rockliffe Hall is set on a magnificent restored 18th century estate on the banks of the River Tees, it is a destination in itself and a five star home-from-home.The resort has 61 large luxurious bedrooms, three restaurants, including a fine dining restaurant ran by Kenny Atkinson, Michelin starred Chef, a state-of-the-art spa and a world class golf course.There are eight well equipped meeting rooms, including two large function suites, which can host up to 250 delegates.
Reporting to Kenny Atkinson, the Pastry Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing desserts, pastries, bread, ice cream, sorbets and afternoon tea cakes for our 3AA Rosette restaurant.The role would ideally suit a candidate used to working in a high quality environment and with the skills this type of environment demands.

Our ideal Pastry Chef de Partie candidate will:
·Be qualified to a minimum of level 2 NVQ
·Have experience in a hotel operation – minimum of 3 star standard
·Have recognised a Food Hygiene certificate
·Be able to work in a team
·Be used to working with quality ingredients and creative menus
·Be able to organise themselves and use their initiative
Salary for the Pastry Chef de Partie position will be dependent on experience and please be aware that we are unable to offer live-in accommodation.
