Join me for this special French Pastry Thanksgiving-themed class at Ettiene Market in McKinney, Texas! I’m coming home for Thanksgiving and cannot wait to bake with all of you!
I will be demoing how to make a LEMON CRANBERRY TART, mouthwateringly delicious and with the addition of a fabulous amount of butter, not tart but creamy and incredibly good, and CHOCOLATE PECAN FRENCH MACARONS, seriously perfect for your Thanksgiving celebration. I’ll also show you how to tweak the flavors so they’re perfect for any time of year.

The class includes a demonstration on:
– making sweet pastry tart dough and forming it to a tart mold
– whipping up a lemon cranberry curd and instruction for how to alter the flavors for any season
– how to make fluffy Chantilly cream – a great skill to know for any dessert! (Including pumpkin pie!!)
– the art of making French Macarons
-piping, filling and decorating your creations
Each guest will decorate their own tart and sandwich together macarons with chocolate pecan ganache. Then the decorating will begin! Edible flowers, luster dust, and piping bags with lemon cranberry curd and chantilly cream will be at your station to make your pastry art dreams come true. I will be making the rounds offering tips and showing techniques as well.
You’ll head home with the recipes, a beautiful tart, fit to serve 4-6 people, and a box of delicious macarons.
