Welcome to My New Blog!

Hey Everyone!

Welcome  and thanks for stopping by! I just finished moving my blog over from Blogger to WordPress. Spiffy huh? It was a lot of work and it’s still in progress but I’m ready to start blogging again! If you have a blog you’re thinking about transferring, check out this article. It is by far the best article I found about moving your blog from Blogger to WordPress and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I’ll certainly try my best to help!

It’s been exactly a month since my last post and I’m ready to get back to posting! During my one month posting sabbatical I was busy baking and going to culinary school and I cannot wait to update you on everything!

Upcoming posts include:

Wine 101 Class at Culinary School

Grandma’s Chocolate Cookies (I ate 5 the day I made them. These are crazy deliciou!)

Healthy Gluten-Free Zucchini Chocolate Chip Cookies (Did you know that there is gluten-free oatmeal?)

My Trip to Virginia where I stayed with my friend at her Uncle’s house who is a beer making priest with a chicken coop (I want one so bad!)

Salted Oatmeal Butterscotch Bars

and more!

So take a look around and if you like what you see stay up to date with my blog by subscribing by email or connecting with Google Friend Connect, both on the right hand side.

  • Looks great! I looked quickly at the article you mentioned. I only read the first line and saw it mentioned Bluehost. That’s who I’ve been with for 5 years since I started my own website development business.

WordPress on your own domain is the way to go without a doubt. So many more options than blogger.

The article may have mentioned it, but you can put in a redirect so that anyone going to your old blogger site automatically redirects to your new site address. I’m sure Bluehost will help you with that.

Hope the best for you in your blogging! It’s very time consuming!

  • Thanks Curt! I actually turned tech geek one weekend and figured out the redirect (yay!) I’m not too tech savvy so it was a super exciting accomplishment!
